Our Tag Cabo Sportfishing 4 day fishing excursion in February was way better than we expected.
On your first day, we were able to catch a 19-pound snook, 2 rooster fish ranging from 20 to 30 pounds, 4 snappers, and a few jack crevells, which is an impressive catch. Even better, we were able to share this experience with fellow anglers on 3 different boats, which must have added to the excitement.
On the third day, we decided to take a break from fishing and embark on an ATV jungle tour. With a 35-minute hike, we were rewarded with a refreshing swim in a small waterfall. This was an excellent way to break the monotony of fishing while still enjoying nature.
The fourth day was a bit slower with only 2 snappers and a few needlefish. However, this allowed Us to appreciate the scenic views of the shoreline and experience a more relaxed pace of fishing.
Then we resumed fishing on the fourth day, where we caught 5 30-pound yellowfin tunas, 1 blue marlin, and 3 sailfish. The catch must have been exhilarating, and the thrill of the experience is something you will likely never forget.
Throughout our trip, we stayed in a 5-bedroom villa located right within the Manuel Antonio National Park. The location allowed Us to enjoy the jungle’s natural beauty, with frequent visits from monkeys, colorful birds, and big lizards. The villa must have provided Us with a comfortable stay and easy access to your fishing expeditions.
Overall, our 4-day fishing adventure in Costa Rica was a remarkable experience. The locals’ warmth and hospitality, coupled with the diverse marine life and jungle wildlife, made for a trip that we will cherish forever. As an avid angler, I would undoubtedly recommend this trip to any fishing enthusiast looking for an unforgettable adventure.
