This location has a 600 feet deep plateau, and 3 seamounts with a height of 150 feet from the surface. Plateaus and seamounts are a natural habitat for the fish, and can be your next go-to fishing spot.
Moreover, this place has an underwater current pathway, leading to the Golden Gates Banks. During the fishing season you can easily catch Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Bonita and Blue Marlin.
Golden Gate Bank
The deep water canyon, Tinaje Trough runs across San Jaime to the Golden Gate Bank. The undercurrent and warm temperature makes this location ideal for the fish and attracts variety of species to this bank, such as, Dorado, Skipjack, Black Seabass, Yellowfin, Blue Marlin and Striped Marlin.
Finger Bank
This fishing spot is located miles away from Cabo San Lucas marina, off the coast of Todos Santos, and is popular for striped marlins.
Lighthouse
Apart from being a landmark in Cabo Falso, it is also a popular spot for trophy fish and Dorado. Many anglers head south of the lighthouse, just 2-5 miles, in order to enjoy great fishing.

Gordo Bank, located 22 miles northeast to the Cabo San Lucas marina, is one of the best fishing spot in Baja California Sur. The inner and outer Gordo Banks provide an opportunity to enjoy wide range of water depth. This area is most productive from April to November, so don’t forget to make a fishing trip in winters.
Vinorama Canyon
If you travel further north from the Gordon Banks, you will find the Vinorama Canyon. The geographic terrain makes it fish-friendly. Many experienced anglers visit this place for Reef fishing throughout the year.
